The Environment

Industore always offers a first class service to our customers that will not in anyway detract from our efforts to make better use of waste products, make a balanced judgement in relation to the chain of supply and to make us a better neighbour to our community. As such we strive for the following:

• Work in partnership with our waste management contractor Biffa Waste Services, to provide a recycling strategy to segregate Paper, Cardboard, Plastic, Aluminium etc. (EWC codes available on request).
• Forge partnerships with local community projects to recycle items such as furniture and computer equipment (also using the services of Biffa Waste Management to locate community projects in the U.K.)
• To review our chain of supply to assess the amount of recycled material used in the product, the supplier's environmental policy and the impact of the product on the Environment.
• Monitor our energy consumption in terms of both transportation and in our offices.
• Continually review our strategy to comply with all Legislation and our internal assessment criteria on supply and energy.
