The Solution for Benning Ireland
Benning Ireland chose Industore to install storage carousels with a view to maximizing their warehouse storage space. They commissioned 13 Hänel Rotomats which allowed them to start utilising the previously unused height available in their warehouse. In turn this gave them the much-needed capacity they sought within the existing warehouse which they then used to increase production activities.
Industore bespoke software was interfaced with the Benning Warehouse Management System to further enhance the control/replenish operation. This provided further savings in time and labour costs, which, combined with the massive space savings, gave Benning Ireland a very fast return on investment.
Commenting on the implementation of the Hänel Rotomats, Charles Barron, Benning Ireland General Manager said: "We have many years of good experience with Hänel Rotomats of all sizes in our parent company in Germany. In order to save storage space more efficiently and have better stock control, it has been necessary to implement more units. We have had no problems with our existing Rotomats, which we have had for more than 10 years, and they have dramatically improved our stock control."
