They have seen the facility grow, from a small pre delivery inspection facility, to Honda’s largest European manufacturer, producing 3 models across 2 car plants.
Due to the decision to increase the model range at Swindon and incorporate the Jazz into production from October 2009, the Material logistics department were given the task of incorporating all Jazz safety stock into the current safety cage footprint.

The Material Logistics Department within Honda working alongside Industore started to look at numerous space saving devices to incorporate the extra parts. Mobile racking, mezzanine flooring, double bay racking were all investigated, but proved too costly.
With detailed liaison and numerous site visits, Industore made a final proposal to Honda Swindon.
By moving these parts to Lean-Lifts we managed to free up 110m² of racking.The total footprint taken up by the four Lean-Lifts is 20m²
