Hänel - A History of Firsts
Hänel are recognised the world over as being great innovators and leaders in their field. Their history is full of landmark achievements that illustrate this:
1957 - Hänel is the first manufacturer in Europe to offer mass-produced office carousels using the Ferris wheel principle.
1973 - Hänel develops the first aluminium carousels.
1993 - Hänel Germany is the first company in its industry to be awarded the ISO 9001 certificate.
1994 - The first vertical lift storage system is developed - the Lean-Lift.Hanel's ISO 9001:2000 certificate
1995 - Hänel Altstätten is the first company in its industry to receive the ISO 9001 certificate in Switzerland.
2005 - Hänel is awarded the current ISO 9001:2000 certificate by the TUV Sud Technical Control Board in recognition of their process-oriented quality management.
Hänel's automated carousel and vertical lift systems provide high storage densities and dramatic floor space savings; they also significantly decrease stock retrieval times and enable productivity gains.
