Environmental Policy

As a company, Industore recognises that its operations have an effect on the local, regional and global environment; we therefore ensure that our operations are in compliance with environmental laws and regulations. However, such laws, regulations and codes of practice serve only as a minimum standard of environmental performance; our employees are actively encouraged to go beyond these and avoid the creation of unacceptable risks to the environment at all times. Furthermore,
Industore is committed to continuous improvement in its environmental performance and the prevention of pollution.

As such we strive for the following:

  • Work in partnership with our waste management contractor to provide a recycling strategy to segregate paper, cardboard, plastic, aluminium etc to reduce our disposal to Landfill sites.
  • Forge partnerships with local community projects to recycle items such as furniture and computer equipment (also using the services of our management contractor to locate community projects in the UK).
  • Work with our suppliers to ensure they recognise and reduce the environmental impact of their products and transportation.
  • Monitor our energy consumption in terms of both transportation and in our offices.
  • Continually review our environmental strategy to comply with all legislation and our internal assessment criteria on supply and energy
